The Sandwich Swap

READING QUESTIONS:
1. Why
didn’t each girl like the other girl’s lunch?
2. Are
there any foods the children in your class didn’t like when you were younger
but like now? What is the favorite lunch food of your students? Do they eat the
same thing every day?
3. What was
the surprise at the end of the book? Ask your children to draw a picture of the
food each would you bring to the picnic table at the end of the story. Make your
own table, with a peanut butter sandwich at one end and a pita and humus
sandwich at the other.
